How we collect, use, and protect information when you use Open Gates or visit dennisgatesmusic.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to dennisgatesmusic.com, Open Gates software and related services, worship ministry resources, email communications, and support interactions operated by Dennis Gates (collectively, the “Services”).

Information you provide
- Contact information: your name, email address, church or organization, and other details you submit through a form or support request.
- Account information: login and profile details if an Open Gates account is offered.
- Communications: messages, feedback, survey responses, and support correspondence.
- Service content: information you choose to enter, upload, or create in Open Gates, such as presentation, lyric, schedule, team, or service-planning content.
- Transaction information: purchase, subscription, and billing records. Payment-card details are handled by the applicable payment processor; we generally do not receive complete card numbers.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Services, our systems and service providers may collect device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, dates and times of access, error reports, and diagnostic or security logs.
Cookies and similar technologies
We and our service providers may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, performance, and understanding use of the Services. You can control many of these technologies through your browser settings, although disabling them may affect functionality.

If you ask to receive worship ministry tools, updates, or other email communications, we use your contact information to send them. You may unsubscribe from promotional email at any time using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send non-promotional messages needed to provide an account, purchase, security notice, or requested support.

We may disclose information to vendors that help us operate the Services, including website hosting, cloud infrastructure, software delivery, analytics, email delivery, customer support, data storage, security, and payment processing. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
